The whole board and management company resigned after my car was burnt and I placed a complain on line In Housing Administration.
Now we are electing a temporary Board and the Treasure who resigned running again of the complain against himself now is back but my question is this after trying to find it in chapter 718
with a complain in progress how long tie he needs to come back to the board after resigning in the course of a complain against himself, now is back and with a manager in his condo,
then in the future meetings I will take a translator because my english is poor, and I gues I can broing a manager too.
This is just funny the Treasurer said we need a Management Company with a lawyer in their pockets,do you know any?

Carlos ... I understand you stated your english is poor and which is why you potentially have not yet received a response. But I will try to answer if you will also answer some questions:

1. Why did your car burn??? Potentially a vehicle catching fire is NOT an HOA responsibility!!! It is after all YOUR vehicle and not owned by the HOA.

2. If someone resigns a position and is again either "elected" by the membership OR appointed to the position by the Board ... potentially that individual is now again a Board member.

3. Your statement "Treasurer said we need a Management Company with a lawyer in their pockets" ..."do you know any"? Sorry ... I do not comprehend or understand your statement.

If you had insurance on your vehicle (which most states require by law) then your insurance company would potentally pay then file a claim for reimbursement against your HOA for their worker causing the fire. Or alternatively you could file a claim against your HOA insurance company for an issue which happened on HOA common area property by an employee. However, the best option is to let your and the HOA insurance companies "duke" or in essence fight it out. Did you file a claim with your insurance company???
