Thank you all, for always guiding me in questions that help us be more informed. We are an HOA FL 720. And we have very good insurance. Since I owned there has been one or two lawsuits. And never had to involve the insurance company, but since we hired a Management Company, we had a petty case with two owner neighbors dispute that was determined to be a personal matter. And we ended paying our attorney plus the Insurance company for analysis.? Can any one please advise me on this? Thank you.

Islam,

I'm not sure what you are asking.

I suspect that the Association was named in the suit and incurred expenses to defend itself (hence attorney fees).
The Association may have also brought in the D&O insurance and had to pay a delectable. You will have to read the policy or ask your board why others costs (if any) were incurred.
