I'm one of two agreeable, easygoing California condo owners who have been saddled with ancient bylaws more suitable to a large HOA. The other owner plans to sell, and we agree it's time to update/replace our bylaws -- especially since we have been rather slapdash about running the HOA. Finding good model bylaws and/or legal advice that won't bankrupt us, has been a challenge. Google got me here, I'm hoping for some guidance, and I appreciate any suggestions.

Exactly, what are you trying to update or change?
