I was looking for the post that was about the residents setting up a website and there was a lawsuit going on over it.

I looked back a couple pages but was sure that I had posted on it last night.

Michele, did your post end with "This post is NOW Roy Roger's horse "Trigger" which is very much stuffed and available for viewing any time." If so, it is on page 2.

Roger: LOL

No, I didn't end with that.

It was a discussion about the homeowners who said their board was suing them over using the HOA name on their website.

My post was a reply to Judith about the site: neighborhoodlink.com.

I then talked about some other stuff too.

But it looks like the entire thread is gone.

I searched back a few pages, but was pretty sure I posted it last night (after midnight). At worst, on the 16th.

It's gone. HOATalk must have removed it.

Why was it removed?

If it was not for the discussion about the neighborhoodlink.com site that Judith brought up, and that I expanded on, I would at least like to repost that information because I wanted to clarify something I think Judith was trying to imply.

The post was removed because the parties to the lawsuit were posting each other's full names, the management company name, etc.

Our rules prohibit posting of any person's name or company name.

The post was very long and it would take too long for our editor's to review all and remove all the names. Considering that and the fact that the participants are involved in an active lawsuit against each other, it was best removed from our site.

Okay, that's fine and I understand that. I was just wanting to make sure that it wasn't because of the mention of neighborhoodlink.com.

Since it's not, I will start another thread that will try to recreate my post on that.

Thanks.

Well that is a company name, which is also disallowed by the posting rules.

I just would like to apologize on my part because I was not aware of the rules of the posting. I should have read them before hand. I was only trying to let you know that you were being mislead as to the basis of the lawsuit. Again I can not get in the specifics of the lawsuit. But it is not about freedom of speech and 1st amendment rights. We did send a letter asking them to shut this site down as this site had many issues the Board wanted resolved. We had no control of the content, who had access, and we were told the administrator would not hand over control to the Association. There are other issues but I will not get into them. I thank you for your input and suggestions. I hope you understand that with a complex of 300 units this is a very small group of resident that are complaining.

Mark
