Hi Everyone, I'm new to HOAs. Does anyone know the income tax filing requirements for the stae of NJ? Also, what form would be used for state of NJ?

Doesn't your HOA have an association accountant? If not, you should get one, but for now, try your state department of revenue's website -http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/revenue/

Expecting that you are also registered as a nonprofit corporation, most Associations are but check to be sure, the forms should be:

Federal - Due March 15th (or the 15th day of the third month of the corporate year)
Form 1120-H is typical.

I would expect that you would file corporate tax forms in NJ.
However, I honestly do not know.
Try contacting the corporate division within the NJ taxation department.
