To all my friends in the Condo Association Management business I have a rather simple question (I am sure it is not as easy as I think).

What percent of Condominium building throughout the country are master Metered for utilities (thus the utilities for each unit are passed back monthly/quarterly, etc.) through assessments/CAM charges?

Thank you

I don't think you'll find your answer here. Might be better to Google your question. But I'd break it down to types of utilities.

In our urban high rise condo, the HOA pays for our gas to our rages & fireplaces & hot water, and water. Individual owners pay for electricity.

There's a sq. ft. variance in our CC&Rs where larger units pay a bit more for gas and for water than smaller units.

In a Charlotte NC condo we owned many hers ago, there only was electricity as Duke Power had a near monopoly. So, owners paid for electricity and the HOA paid for water.
