Homeowners received their annual meeting info packets today. The first page is the "Notice of Annual Members Meeting" and it gives the date of the meeting as January 19, 2016.

The date of the meeting is correct (i.e. 2017) on the enclosed proxy form and on the election ballot. I think the meeting notice needs to be re-sent with the correct date. Others on the board don't want to do it because of the cost of postage.

Any thoughts? It's unlikely that the results of the election will be challenged but I'd rather not take the chance that an unexpected challenge would immediately succeed on a technicality.

OK I should have searched a little more before posting above. The last page of this PDF suggests that if the only error is the year then it would probably not be considered a material error. The day of the month and the time and place of the meeting are all correct on the notices that went out and all notices contain the same error.

So not going to sweat it.

If there are several members who got confused about the year date, then, yes, a postcard could be sent out re-stating the time, date, place and year correction.
