Our community has a POA and HOA board. The POA has very little responsibility but still requires 3 board members to function.
Can a board member for the POA also serve on the HOA? I am asking as it is tough to maintain 3 POA board members and 5 HOA board members.

Unless your governing documents prohibit it, then yes, they may serve.

If there is a conflict of interest, it may be best not to serve.

Nothing is noted in either of our By-Laws. Both boards work closely together so we shouldn't have a conflict of interest.
Thanks for your responses.
