Our annual meeting proxy states that it expires in 11 months - why so long?
Also, can this proxy be used for other meetings beside the annual one?

Typically a proxy can last as long as steted on it but usually for no more than one year.

Depending on the wording, it could be used for everything.

Welcome to the world of Proxies. I love them but they can also be a very abused thing that few understand.

A harsh question about this and the recall. Why do you insist on playing "outhouse" lawyer rather than hire a lawyer and do things properly? Otherwise I predict you will lose all your battles.
