Does anyone know about grants to fix up common areas at our HOA? Our clubhouse is a mess and would like to pursue funding to fix it up. I am running for a board position to be on the board right now. Thank you for any input. Jan in Austin TX

Contact your city to see if they have a neighborhood grant program.
Contact power companies to see what grants or assistance they can give.

As Tim mentioned, check with your local city or county. As an example, the county I'm in has a program detailed here:
