I would like either a good link to a HOA website that has some free templates we can borrow so we remain uniform in our procedures and not have different documents all over the place. Or some form letters some can share. Thanks,Pat in Florida

Pat,

Welcome to the forum.
Are you on the Board of your Association?

What type of form letters (late assessments, violations, etc.)?

Keep in mind that letters need to reference your governing documents and, perhaps, applicable State laws. Therefore, all examples provided, regardless the source, should be edited to be applicable to your Association.

I found a slew of resources by doing an internet search on hoa letter examples

Here are a couple:

Forms and Checklists from HOA Support (not positive that they are free, but they give an e-mail to ask for versions in word. Can't hurt to check out.

The Board Member Tool Kit from CAI has some examples

Here are some threads on this forum about forms and letters:

Subject: Restriction Enforcement Letters

Subject: HOA Welcome Letter

Subject: HOA Dues Increase Letter Example Needed

Subject: Need warning template and fine

Hope this helps,

Tim

Pat,

There is a book written by Florida Lawyers covering "The Law of Florida Homeowners Associations" that includes some sample letters. There are two versions of this book, one is geared to HOAs and the other is COAs. The authors are Peter Dunbar, Esq & Charles Dudley, Esq.

It is also a great reference to Florida statutes and interpretations.

Here are some links to purchase them
