Curious as to whether a person that has been recently recalled from the our board of HOA can run again for position? Is there waiting time period or can they just go ahead and run again?

My initial blush is they can rerun in the next election.

Barry,

If there are no limitations within your governing documents or applicable laws, FL 720 for HOAs, FL 718for condominiums and (typically) FL 617 if incorporated, then yes, they may run again.

Yep, with John & Tim--your governing documents & state law will give you the answer. But probably there's no restriction.

As others have said, unless there's a legal restriction (e.g. convicted felon) or some other provision in your governing documents then there's nothing to stop someone from running again. What kind of recall effort would motivate people to get off their butts to vote in favor of a recall, and then have those same people turn around and vote that same person back in again?
