We are looking into a card/fob based access control system for our pool/tennis court areas (6 entry points), does anyone have suggestions on what brand(s) of system have been working well for other hoa's? Some of the systems we have been looking at are extremely expensive and appear to be more designed for commercial buildings.

Thank you.

If your HOA is incorporated you ARE a commercial enterprise, albeit not-for-profit.

Card systems will be expensive to purchase AND expensive to maintain.

Same for fob systems, except the 'readers' are better for outdoor use.

Remember, BOTH types require periodic 'programming', some with 'special tools'.

IMO: less a VERY compelling need, fuh-ged-bout-it
