Our small four-unit condo is planning on getting competitive quotes for its Association insurance and are looking for "providers" who issue both Association policies and Unit-Owner policies, to eliminate any potential coverage gaps at claim-time. Before just calling around I'm posting this to ask readers who they like for such insurance, and indeed if this approach seems reasonable. So far I'm seeing State Farm & Travelers, but surely there are more. Any comments are appreciated. We are in Vermont. Thanks much!

Hi Harry,

Welcome to the forum.

Forum posting rules specifies that mentioning of companies are prohibited (granted we all push the line on occasion, but typically only when referencing articles).

You may want to provide an e-mail for posters to give you actual names and comments about their carriers.

If you don't want to provide your personal e-mail (and that is understandable) you can utilize a free service (hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc.) to create an account for this specific purpose.

Hope this helps,

Tim

S/F is top rated with adequate reserves for almost any 'calamity' and provides excellent and long term service and reliability.

There is more to insurance than merely the lowest rate for the present year.

How about NEXT year and the one(s) thereafter ?
