If you haven't noticed, the banner on the home page has changed.

HOATalk is 10 years old (2005-2015).

I'm glad they created the forum as it assisted me a lot in fighting my Board on an issue and helped me change my Association for the better (granted that is subjective).

THANK YOU STAFF OF HOATALK

I joined this site back in 2006! My how time seems to fly by.

One of the few sites set up to offer board members a place to seek advice, information, opinions and support.

I would like to thank those responsible for the service they have provided, free of charge, to folks like myself who have enjoyed and benefitted from my participation.

And thanks to the regular posters both past and present who have made this site useful, enjoyable and at times quite entertaining. I wish you all the best!

One thing you may find interesting is that there have been over 200,000 posts in those 10 year.

This is determined by the address of the "test" post. [bolded portion is the number of the post] for the sight:

Congratulations and many happy returns!

Of all the various websites I've reviewed looking for answers on various Association issues, this one is the best. People do argue from time to time, but even that has been enlightening. This website made me a better board member and I still take a look to see what people are talking about - some of the more interesting discussions get me thinking about things going in my own community and I forward that to the board for their review. I don't know closely they pay attention, but at least someone has sent some suggestions.

For everyone who's answered my questions over the years, thanks so much for your input and suggestions! I hope some of my biased, bigoted (!) opinions and suggestions have been useful to you in some way.

If it is not right do not do it; if it is not true do not say it. Marcus Aurelius
