Any suggestions on a parking process to allow for a third vehicle in a gated community that currently only allows for two vehicles? The two vehicles must be stored in the garage per the CC&Rs.

Thanks

Not enough info here. Tell us about your community. Is there street parking?, additional Visitor parking? What do the current docs say about parking?

Do the rules allow for variances with written permission from the Board?

This is a great question, I have a similar situation. I don't know how you guys can help.

The current parking regulations prevent owners from parking in visitors parking. I found an article online where an HOA was sued and lost because they prevented members of the community that have garage from using the visitor's space.

What will be the best approach to have residents to use the visitors’ parking space?

Does allowing the resident to park at the visitor parking space at night could be a solution?

Please provide whatever ideas and feedbacks that you have!

Scenarios
2 car garages/3 cars?
4 car garages/5 cars?

Greg
