Arizona Statute number needed

Just need the number of the revised Arizona statute that now states that a board member must be on the Architectural Committee. Have a management company that does not know how to read the statute or our governing documents. Thanks as always.

Mark, Thanks for the reply and you assumed correctly about the google search. I am certain that I read this in one of the laws that was changed in the last few years. Appreciate you attempt at helping out. I live in an HOA headed up by ill-informed directors, bad management and now an issue with an attorney they hired who doesn't know the condo statutes in Arizona. Have a great week.

I believe what you are looking for is in 33-1817 (applicable to planned communities - I did not check condominiums) [emphasis added]:

33-1817. Declaration amendment; design, architectural committees; review

Notwithstanding any provision in the community documents:

1. Membership on a design review committee, an architectural committee or a committee that performs similar functions, however denominated, for the planned community shall include at least one member of the board of directors who shall serve as chairperson of the committee.
