Where could I find documents stating the SC laws governing HOAs?

South Carolina is one of the many states that doesn't have a law governing HOA's or POA's. Condominiums are covered under the "Hrizontal Real Property Act". The closest law, which covers the creations of subdivisions, is the "Uniform Land Sales Practice Act" found here:

They may not have HOA Laws, but most States do have Corporate Laws that apply. In Mich there is a section on Non-Profits it covers a lot of issues.
