We have 3 boardmebers but it seams like our president can make all the decisions and can spent all the money with out

he boards approval. any body has an answer for that.d brooks

Doris, the other two Board members can get educated on the By-laws and proper conduct of meetings (such as Roberts Rules of Order). Then develop the skills (and backbone) to demand the President follow proper procedures.

That's sound advise however, in the association that I belong to when a board member displays a back bone, they just remove him from the borad. It's a nice process too, first he/she will be slandered in unsigned letters to the community, then meetingswill be held asking support in the persons removal with less than twenty four hours notice to the entire community. Of the vast attendance will be the friends of the board (as they are the ones given proper notice). Good luck.
