We have to replace our pool liner this spring before pool season starts. Our contractor will provide color and design samples to select from, beyond that does anyone have any advice on the selection, design, etc or things that you wish you had known going into your last replacement?

Plan ahead... I have heard if you leave a pool empty too long it can collapse. So I would do this during a time of little rain chances.

Make sure to get atleast 3 quotes before pursuing. Watch for any sharp spots. Plus good idea to do any other maintenance issues while it is down. We had a leak in our pool for years. So may be a good time to check for any preventative maintence items.

You might want to ask in a pool forum, since most HOA's dont own pools.
