Our HOA is paying $600 a month for one of our board member's son to pick up trash in the community. He is getting the same amount as our manager! I've only seen him doing this job once. The rest of the time I see our board member walking around doing it herself, and then her son I think is getting the money. The community is clean, but some of the board are not comfortable with what is going on and do not know how to approach this.

Pau, if "some of the board are not comfortable with what is going on" they can try to pass a motion at a Board meeting to change this. I suggest this job be handled by the CM during their inspection. To pay a Board member's family member an abnormallly large amount for this job is clearly a conflict of interest.
