Our PM used drop box which I have on my computer. When I first started to us it, I worked fine. Then after a few weeks I would not get to the "To Do" list. Shortly after that my computer kept crashing. Since my computer was used when I bought it, I decided to get a new computer. I did open the "To Do' list on my new computer once, shortly after that I was not able to get to my Microsoft office. I tried to open the "To Do" list and a box popped up that told me the last time I opened this item, it caused a problem with my computer.

Has anyone else had experience and/or problem with the computer drop box?

run a virus scan.

Additionally, if you have a PC with windows 7 or 8, you may need to run the program as if it's running under windows xp (for windows 7 - right click on the app, select properties then select compatibility)

Look for a dropbox forum or support. A HOA forum isnt really the place to look for answers.

Thank you. One of the first things I did was to run a virus scan.
Also I have a new windows 8.1 computer.
I did post this on a drop box forum and the PM will be with me Friday for a short time to try to help me with this.
I may have to stop using drop box if it is going to mess with my computer.

Highly unlikely that this is DropBox related.

If for some strange reason that DOES turn out to be the case, you can always access the files stored in DropBox directly from the web rather than the computer-side client.
