My HOA held the election May 6th. The organizational meeting did not follow.
What is the required time to notify members of the organizational meeting?

Check your by-laws. Ours state following the annual meeting - election. We wait about an hour and then have the
Organization meeting.

The answer should be in your Bylaws.

At the minimum, it should be done at the first meeting following the election.

Please note that Officers continue to serve in their position until the organizational meeting and the election of new officers. Granted, some outgoing Boards/Officers won't do this, but I think most will.

There are few ways to handle electing officers. Some will do it directly after an election. If you all are new, it might be best to have an orientation meeting, get to know one another and the possible issues facing the community. The selection of officers can be done at a properly noticed open meeting of the Board and put into the minutes. What you want to insure is that the process is transparent to the other owners.
