We reside in NC, we recently learned our HOA board is selling some of COS to the developer ( note: building is not completed yet, probably only 80%). The home owners have not been advised of this, should this be put to a vote/discussion? Appreciate your thoughts.

In my hoa our board has the power to sell common area without a vote of homeowners, I can only assume most are this way.

Hi Charlotte:

Your documents may speak to the procedure that must be used.

What happens to small patches of common space when an HOA or POA dissolves? We have a few tiny areas, probably just large enough to get taxed at a minimum, if at all.
