Harold..........What's even funnier is the same HOA has a rule that prohibits LAUGHTER after 10 p.m. I kid you not--- It was all over the news stations here ....... I called the guy who the complaint was filed against and we had a good laugh over it.... This is a family oriented neighborhood but a few of the people who like to "retire" early felt that any activities after 10 p.m. interfere with their quality of life...I will have to see if I can find the article and post it ...I have had dealings with their ARB Board when i designed a few homes for some clients and they are clueless as to Architectural Standards.... When I tried explaining the downside from an Engineering standpoint as to their required 30 " overhangs they said tough.... Their rules are rules and if the homeowner wanted ARB approval then they had do do it their way or approval would not be granted for construction....I can't tell you how unsafe from a Engineering standpoint a 30" overhang is in a 140 MPH wind zone.....Shame we all can't work together to achieve a common good....have a great weekend........Off to Deed Restriction Meetings.............Should be a lively one today....Linda C
