Hi All, Our HOA is currently considering the rehabilitation of our 50 year old
concrete and asphalt driveway. With all the associated problems.

Can anyone tell us where to find a schedule of fees for a qualified engineer to
oversee this project.
I think architects have a list of fees determined as
"% of cost of project" for things like sketch plan, full set of construction drawings, bid evaluation, contractor performance, full project responsibility.
But I have not found any such schedules for "Project Managers"
I will also be asking CAI and the project management institute next week.

Many thanks for all the help.

Last bid we received from a Project Engineer to do all the items you mentioned was 11% of the project cost.

Adrian,

I doubt that there is an actual schedule of fees. It will depend on the engineering firm and/or the engineer.

I think we spent approx 5K to have an engineer determine the state of our roads. Most of the cost was the actual core drilling in various areas so a determination could be made. When we last had quotes (2012) for actual milling and paving they ran between $15 and $20 per square yard.
