Our CC&R states
Invalidation of any one or more of the provisions, reservations, restrictions and covenants herein contained, and any amendments hereto, by court order or judgement, shall in no vise affect any of the other provisions, restrictions and covenants herein.
could anyone tell me in plain english what it means?

Basically, it sounds as it essentially means:

Each provision within the CC&Rs stands on its own merit.

If someone were to nullify or invalidate any of the elements within the CC&Rs (which usually includes rules/guidelines, deed restrictions and other similar provisions that apply to the members of the HOA) that doesn't nullify the rest of the document.

Wording such as this is usually added to bring legal verbage that protects the interest of the HOA as a whole; So that someone can't just refute the rest of the CC&Rs due to a single flaw or invalid entry.

If you cannot see the forest for the trees, back up and get a better view. Don't start to clear a path while still blind.
