Florida Statute 720 was recently amended. HOA's must now register with the state and supply other HOA pieces of info. Does any experienced director know of other major changes associated with this legislation that a new director (like me) should be aware of?

I think a new director would be smart to inquire as to the rationale for the changes. In this instance, the new legislation is the "first part" of HOA reform to make HOA laws congruent with the laws pertaining to condos.

A smart director will educate him/herself and make better decisions with anticipated law changes in mind.
