I ran into this neat HOA app for Apple and Android systems. Works on both smart phones and tablets. It covers all 50 states and DC. being from California, I have been using the app from Davis-Stirling.Com, but this has some features the other doesn't and covers all states.

The information is at http://www.kgblawfirm.com/how-katzman-garfinkel-berger-helps-community-assocations/condo-hoa-law-app/

Richard,

I've found many sites fail to include Corporate codes.

Does this app include corporate codes or simply drop you into the States website of statutes and then you have to locate the applicable code?

In reviewing the app for California, there isn't the Corporation Code we use besides the Civil Code.

For Virginia, it has the following:

Co-ops: Chapter 4.1 24 and Title 55, Chapter 29
Condos: Chapter 4.1, 4.2, and Title 55, Chapter 29
HOAs: Chapter 26, Title 55, Chapter 29
Mobile Homes: Chapter 13.3 and Title 55, Chapter 29
Time Shares: The Virginia Real Estate Time Share Act and Title 55, Chapter 29

It may not have everything, but it sure does have a lot.

Thanks Richard. They seem to be dropping the corporate code which, in my opinion, is more important than the HOA/COA laws.

Most of the issues outside of enforcement that I have seen have dealt with procedural issues. Corporate law is typically the place to look when addressing procedural issues.
