We want to add 4 lots to our existing HOA and the developer of the lots wants to join. We are a very small HOA and want to know if there are any generic forms for Lake county, Florida to do this. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Linda, I would never use a generic form for this; I would use an experiened HOA attorney. Ask the Developer to handle this at their cost if all current owner are in agreement.

LindaC7--- seeing how you are in Florida you may want to read Chapter 720 of the Fla Statutes........Also check your by laws as they may not allow for additional properties to be added to your hoa....I am in Florida and our by laws state we can not have more than 300 residential lots-- we are a 3500 acre sub division currently having 299 (3) acre residential lots........... the rest of the land is common property with the lodge and other ammentities........Hope this helps LindaC

Linda--- Oops-- I forgot something---- You will need to verify with your county zoning dept-- If you are a PUD Development you will have to have the entire subdivison resurveyed and replatted and get permission form them in order to add additional building lots to your HOA...So it's not quite as generic as you may think it is..Like RogerB says......Let the developer do all the wrok as it seems to benefittting him the most.....LindaC

Roger is right, have the Developer at his cost hire an attorney to do a Supplemental Amendment to your CCR's adding these 4 lots.
