My question is actually a solution I had to mounting my flag to my balcony railing in my condo in OCMD. My condo is called the Angle Fish and we are part of the condo Association. We have rules that don't allow our owners to screw flag pole holders directly into the balcony railing and we are finding that a lot of our owners are doing this. They said that until we come up with an alternative way of mounting these, then what do you want us to do. After looking at the ways other condos mount their flag holders, using boards & muffler clamps or hose clamps that break and are not safe, we came up with an idea. I created a Bracket that fits around the post that securely mounts to the post and the flag pole holder then mounts to this bracket. It is a really Clean, neat and safe way to fly our flags and also be accepted by our association. I did not want to post anything about this without getting permission from the head of this site. But my emails came back undelivered. I can email you pictures of how this looks when mounted and its very simple to attach. I know other condo owners have this issue and I thought this would be helpful in solving this problem. Please email at [email protected] and let me know if its okay to post this. If you would like to see photos, please send me an email address I can send them to.

Sent numerous emails to the forum email contact and got no response. It was suggested by some HOA members to post it and see if it could be of help to any of them. I will delete it if the administer tells me too. Thanks

Not re the topic - for information only. I recently tried to reach ā€œhoatalk supportā€ via their ā€œfill in form emailā€ on an entirely different topic, and both times ā€œitā€ came back, ā€œcould not be deliveredā€.

Thinking that ā€œtheyā€ might not know, I followed up with an email to ā€œtheir businessā€. That email did go thru, but so far I have received only an automated response.

I suspect, since there were no replies to your thread prior to advertising your website, that these suggestions were via your e-mail, provided earlier.
Since you were in contact with members via e-mail, you certainly could have provided any information to those interested and keep from violating the forum posting rules.

Flying your flag is a favorite method of funneling your money directly into the "service provider" (read: lawyer) pocket.

Crazy board members drunk on finally finding power denied them in "real" life....egg the pathology on.

What a joke!

Solution????

Yes!!!

Make a law that would require an independant audit of HOA financials if the HOA gets into a flag or political sign dispute.

Poof!!!!

No more flag or political sign disputes!

Looks like pudgy ole GlenL doesn't want anyone looking behind the HOA scam curtain....

Hey GlenL....do you carry an HOA credit card too? Charging personal gas or meals or any ole thing your heart desires?

After all.....you must be due SOME compensation for your tireless "volunteer" effort right?
