I am new here and wonder if it's appropriate to ask members experiences with a particualr developer. We are going through a transition and would like to find other developments who have had experience with our developer so we could contact them and find out the best way to deal with our problems. We have requested a voluntary assessmnt of $100 per unit to hire a lawyer and engineer. WE're not sure what to fdo next since the developer won't sit down with us.

I haven't seen the names of develpers or communities in the posts and wonder if it's OK to be that specific.

Bob,

Welcome to the forum.

You can certainly discuss what is happening within your Association. However, you should not mention the name of your Association, the name of anyone in your Association or the name of your developer. Mentioning those names would be a violation of HOAtalks Rules for Posting Messages.
