I and my neighbors around one resident believe that the "renters" are dealing drug from thier homes. Signs:

The type of people that come in and out of the residents. I'm not talking ethics type of people, i'm talking about folks that look like drug addicts, looks like that are all strung out (sick looking) type of people

Vehicles come and going all hours of the day and night, mostly at night on was Friday and Saturday. One person would stay in the vehicle while the passnger would run in anywhere staying from 5 to 10 mins and run in get into the vehcile waitting on them.

The folks are every hardly outside, and don't talk to anyone and pretty much keep to themselfs.

One time at 3:00 in the morning I was awaken by a barking dog from the neighbor beside me. Being a friendly nieghbor I went over to knock on their door, with no answer, but when I was there a car pulled to the curb and someone got out and ran inside the house. As I was walking on the sidewalk back to my house I pass the vehicle and saw the male driver in the driver seat rolling what to me look like a joint.

I was thinking on setting up a camera and recording some of the active and taking it down to the police station.

I want to get some of yall input, and if you had anything like this happened.

Before you set up the camera I would go down to the local police station, tell them what is going on and ask what can be done. I'm reminded of a case from a while ago where a man complained to the police about drug dealing in his neighborhood and the police explained there was nothing they could do because they didn't have proof the drug dealing was going on. The next day the man was back and he proudly showed the police the drugs he had bought and was promptly placed under arrested for possession. Fortunately common sense prevailed and he was released but the point is ask what they need don't get yourself in trouble trying to do the right thing.

Studies show that 5 out of 4 people have problems with fractions

Drug dealers can be very dangerous people. For your own protection I would advise against your setting up cameras. If they see the cameras they could decide to shoot you.

Keep telling the police about what's going on, and let them set up their own survellience of the area. That's their job. If they don't do it, then keep showing up at the station to ask what's happening. If you keep on them, they'll eventually take action and set up their own sting.

Hi KennyD1:

I would suggest doing whatever surveillance is possible without putting yourself in danger; this could include a count of cars coming and going by time; writing down license plate numbers of car along with desription, e.g. Light blue Ford Mustang, (state) license ###-XXX, damage to right rear quarter panel. If you can get the expiration on the license, all the better. Description of drivers/passengers would be helpful as well.

If there are "suspicious smells" that drift from the property, then let the police know that as well (may be a meth lab inside).

Do you know the owner's name and contact information? If anybody does, a call might be of help, since the owner may not know what is going on with his property.

If you local police don't want to do anything, contact the FBI, ATF, DEA, etc. until you find someone who will do something about it.

Contact the police. As many times as necessary. Go higher up the chain of command each time. If that doen't work, contact your local TV station.

You can keep records or take pictures and video but don't get caught and don't confront them.
