I live in texas I own 4 lots and pay assement fees on all four lots yet my HOA says I only get one vote is this legal in Texas

what says the contract you entered into with your neighbors ?

it is called the Covenant and Restrictions and is 'attached', albeit by reference, to your deed of ownership ...... for which you did actually sign at closing

For a legal answer you should contact an attorney but unless your specific CC&R's has some strange language limiting your vote for multiple lots, then yes you are entitled to vote each lot. I suspect that it is a simple misunderstanding on the HOA's part, most documents limit the vote to one per lot and it is easy to get that confused with one vote per owner. Simply look up where it says one vote per lot and show it two the Board.

I do not agree an attorney is needed but I do agree with the rest of what Glen said.
