Hi Everyone:

I am running for a seat on my BOD. I will be sending fliers out to my neighbors. The climate in my neighborhood right now is very negative. Any suggestions on how to word the flyer to emphasize the positive. Your suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

State what you hope to achieve and, if you have a plan, how you might achieve it.
If you're going on a specific issue, give verifiable facts of the issue and let the facts speak for themselves.

Make sure to mail those flyers. Nothing can go into a mailbox without a stamp on it. That is a federal law. Just so your aware of some consequence and expense.

Like Tim said state your purpose and shy away from promises. Once you get on your board you may find things are out of your control. Good luck!!!

In my neighborhood we have people who tape envelopes of information to the mail box post.

I had gotten a letter from the US Post office when I put info intoenvelopes on the outside of our mail boxes -- nothing like an opponent taking the opportunity to turn you in.
All you can do is post what you hope to do if you win and how that will be better for the h/o - do notslam or mention board member names unless it is true! good luck

We put flyers between the storm/screen door and front door or in the porch railings.
