Hello all,
This is a question to current and past board member on this forum.
I am a board member of my townhouse association and I am looking into implementing organic lawn care for our association. The lawn care contractor and property manager tell me that I am the first association who is interested. They are claiming that no association does it mainly because of cost. Plus, most homeowners don't care that there are harmful chemicals being used around their house.
My researchs shows that initially it may cost more, but the cost would come down over time. The main achievement would be that we are using nature to do its work and it is safer for us (children specifically).
What has your experience been?
- Is organic lawn care used in your association?
- If you have used it, have you seen cost savings over time?
Thanks in advance,
Kaushal
