I live right by the gate and during rainy season my lawn gets flooded because by the gate there is a drainage pipe its not that big but over the years they never cleaned it out so there is dirt, leaves etc and when it drains since its so clogged the water takes a long time to drain through the pipe and my yard gets flooded because of this and were the water drains out at the other end the culvert/ditch is not really deep enough so it really does not drain good it just holds the water insted of draining to where ever it drains to i live in florida how should i resolve this issue should i call the county and have them look at it because my hoa really doesent listen to what you suggest to them.

I can only speak from my own experience. Drainage is a BIG deal in our area. Suggest you explore what your local Town or County requirements are and enlist their help.

If it is a public drain you could call your local roads and drainage department (if you have one). Orange County does and they are usually pretty quick to respond.

You say "by the gate" and I'm wondering if this means a private gated community. Are your roads privately owned by your community?
