Can anyone in the Southeast provide a salary range that would be acceptable for a Activities Director/Event planner for a Community Association of approx. 2,100 homes?

That said.... Around here many people that run a small town (4000 people) community centers make about 35k. Salary depends on your local rates.

Steve offers a nice starting point, Chris. A salary probably also would be comparable to a similar position at a nursing home or Parks & recreation dept. in a town.

Why not create an "Events Committee"? We have a Community of about 300 homes & Villas. We have a Committee for allmost everything we do and Events happens to be one of them. They have a annual budget ( set by the Board) and plan parties on site for Homeowners. This is all Volunteer work.
