Do you have the right to sue yourself and your neighbors everytime you file a lawsuit against your HOA? You sure do... Go for it as long as your always the right one in the room....

Marlee,

This is good information for members of FL Associations who may question the validity of an election.

Thank you for posting it.

While I am not terribly well versed in FL condo law (versus just 720), I will say I have little confidence in the DBPR to resolve any matters, even if you are 100 percent correct and have volumes of data backing up your claims. While the latest ombudsman has stated a desire to focus on elections, I fear that the office, which is always eyed as a possible place for cuts, will lack any teeth to enforce the law and that the office will essentially house industry-aligned individuals. I say double- and triple-check any claim to be made. Not only do you not want to waste your time, you would want to avoid entering into a binding agreement that is lopsided because you failed to look at the matter objectively and glossed over some important facts.

Sadly, there is no edit function.

Some browsers will show possible spelling errors by underlining words in red, but that's as far as it goes.
