Hi Everyone,

I can't seem to stay away from this forum but I just found out that HF 122 Common Interest Ownership Act has recently been introduced in the Iowa Legislature. http://coolice.legis.iowa.gov/linc/85/external/HF122_Introduced.html

It's main focus is open meetings and open records.I think it's a good bill and will hopefully pass. - Sherry

From the title, it sounds suspiciously like the Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act upon which Connecticut's law is based. There are a handful of states whose HOA laws are based on the UCIOA and all of them read about the same.
