Does anyone have experience with having subdivided a large HOA into smaller, more manageable entities? We have almost 1000 units in our HOA and it would make sense to split the number into 2 or 3 different ones. Things don't get done in a timely manner, Prop MGR. fails to walk entire property, etc. The typical excuse is..."it's a big property".

The answer is right in front of your face. You got the wrong property manager, not the wrong HOA. Find a new one.

I agree with Steve: the problem is the Manager not the size of the Association. Sounds like RFP time to me.
