How many homeowners do you have in your associations? Is there a minimum number you have to have to form an association.

Hi Nathan:

How many is the minimum, will probably vary from state to state. The smallest one I've seen was 7 homes, in Oregon; but I think I have a cousin who lives in one with only 5 homes. You would likely need more than one home.

My brother is a President of his Homeowners Association and they have 98 town homes.

I used to live in a condo that belonged to a homeowners association that had 108 total.

My dad operated an HOA with only one home (his)... I still remember the bylaws:

My house, My rules. You don't like it, you can leave anytime.

There was a recent thread on here from someone in a 3 unit HOA having parking problems. I like the one unit HOA. LOL. Harold
