Hope you can help me out, I've learned SO much from all your postings. We have a tight budget, and are interested in saving on some postage. Can we send the Budget Meeting Notice and the Annual Meeting Notice together in the same envelope? Being in Florida, we'll be mailing the Budget Notice by October 2 for the Budget Meeting on Nov 2 (30 day notice.) Our Annual Mtg, which includes our BOD election is scheduled for January 15. Per the FL Statutes, the annual meeting notice must be sent out no less than 60 days prior. If I include the first annual meeting notice in my Oct 2 mailing on the Budget meeting, I'll save postage. Of course the 2nd notice for the Annual Mtg would go out in the prior 14-34 day timeframe with the ballots. And in the initial Oct 2 mailing, I'd include the notice of intent for those who would like to run. And I'd complete 2 affadavits for the Oct 2 mailing, 1 for the Budget Mtg mailing and 1 for the First Notice mailing. Is it ok to include both in 1 mailing?

Providing it satisfies the notice timeline requirements, yes you may send both notices in one mailing.

I agree with Tim. As long as the time requirements are met with respect to each meeting, I see no reason why you can't include the notice for each meeting in the same envelope.

Our association votes (ratifies) the budget and elects directors at the same (annual meeting). Thus, we need only one meeting to accomplish both. Has anyone thought of doing something like that in the future?

Would be nice. But would require change to docs.....
