Need anyones input.

I am going to be a new board member soon and am a little confused on what direction we should take. We live in a park the is owned by an outside corporation who hired a management team (park residents) to run the park. They set the rules as an HOA, but never have meetings with the residents to discuss upcoming changes and the like. I wondering if anyone has a like situation and how their HOA runs, as the rules are goverend by the management team.

Tampering with U.S. mailboxes is a federal crime. Forget your HOA. What do you expect them to do? Contact the Postal Inspection Service. They are the enforcement branch for the U.S. Postal Service.

James,

I suspect that by using the term "managed park" that you are in an RV/Mobile home park. Is this correct?

Do you know what AZ statute your Association falls under?

James:

If you own the mobile home but rent the property that it sits on, ARS 33-1401 et seq. (the Arizona mobile home parks residential landlord and tenant act) would apply.

If you own both the mobile home and the property it is on, then I believe that ARS 33-1801 et seq. (planned communities) would apply.
