We are in a complex with a little over two hundred units. The developer still owns a little more then 36% of the units. They have the majority vote and we have been working together and they are forth coming with all of my request. There have been some things that were promised and there have been long delays in getting them completed. They keep saying that they are waiting for signatures and permits. This has been going on for almost a year.
Any recommendations on how to proceed without a legal suit?

DouglasD - it's in the interests of a developer to build as quickly as possible, close units, and move on. Your town/borough building code department and engineer more than likely has oversight to ensure the COA is being constructed according to the Master Plans. Your COA Board should discuss contacting your borough code department, advise them of the nature of the delay in construction, and request their assistance to speed the plow.

It has been my experience without promises in writing, they may not be promises at all. Second any plans he has filed with the City or County, these projects that are filed in the City/County would have to be built accordingly.
