Has anyone ever used that sight? It is a sight that one has to pay for....$99/year I believe the cost is.. they supposedly have many situations for which answers are given... I wanted to have one example of how a question is answered but they will not do so until I pay first and if witin seven days I do notlike it I can cancel.

Alex,

Here is a links to threads on this site that offered a link to advice from that cite:
Subject: Plantings off deck with edging. (I did a search within the forum to find it).

Subject: Our Flag--HOA Laws

It may or may not give you an idea.

There are many good free sites and many good sites that require a subscription. I would suggest before signing up for any subscription site that you read the small print associated with payment and cancellation.

I'm not a member of any subscription site dealing with HOA's so I can't offer any opinion if it is worth the money.

My main issue is who do they qualify to answer the questions?

As we see time and time again on this chat, there are wide differences of opinions. In many cases the differences/understandings are based on rules/laws that vary from state to state, especially concerning the overly regulated ones like FL and CA. Forget the many we see based on ones "personal" beliefs as to how they think it should be or how someone else did it.

We have all seen peeing contests between attorneys (billable hours) on the same subject under the same laws.
