WE HAVE A SMALL COMMUNITY OF 216 HOMES IN WHICH SOME PALY CARDS, ETC. FOR MONEY(small amts) DOES ANY ONE KNOW THE FLORIDA LAW ON THIS? IS IT LEGAL? WE ARE A PRIVATE CLUB NO OUTSIDERS. THANK YOU FOR ANY LIGHT YOU CAN SHED ON THIS.
If they play in their own homes, I don't think the HOA has any responsibility on this even if it's illegal. If they are gambling in an association clubhouse, poolhouse, etc., then you should be concerned and you should check with county or city authorities on this.
Recently in our area (not our HOA), the county police "busted" a poker game for money in a private home. It made the news big time.
