Hello:

IM in Florida IM on the board/president basicly all new too me.....we have parking issue going on....our by-laws state Ownership of each lot shall entitle the owner or owners there of to use of not more then two (2) automobile pasrking spaces, which shall be a near and convenient to said lot as reasonably possile. the association shall permanently assign one (1) vehicle parking space for each dwelling.

Well we have some home owners that have one (1) vehicle and parking in the unmark/visitors space and leaving the assigned spot open all times....no others that have one vehicle are starting to do the same....where does this ever end....dont think its fear too homeowners that have two cars...that are respecting the by-laws and using there assigned spot as well.

I was thinking about sending letter too homeowners...that anyone that never parks in there assigned spot and leaves it open all the time, will lose that assign spot. Also think about putting on all the unmark spots VISITORS.

Any suggestions???

Steve could you post the relevant section or sections if more than one about parking? The devil is in the details and would help to know exactly what the CC&R say about parking.

Studies show that 5 out of 4 people have problems with fractions

Hey GlenL: That info about the parking is from the CC&R...our cummunity by-laws dont state nothing about parking.

Your by laws wouldn't. It is in your CC&R's. Make sure this isn't your decision on what to do. This is yours and the rest of the board to discuss openly in front of the other members. Whatever the group decision is, that is the way to go. Make sure not to violate city ordinaces even if your private. It can add to confusion.
