Used to visit that site but the last few weeks I've been unable to connect to it. It is discontinued.

Thanx even though it isn't about this site it was also a great resource

I noticed the same issue a few weeks ago myself. Shortly after I had "snuck" back on. They had kicked me off several times due to my Pro-HOA point of view.
They have had several legal issues. The originator of the site was in serious doo-doo with her HOA. You can find out about that by going to the AHRCEXPOSED website.
That website was dangerous to be on. I once had a poster who did try to post my personal information on the website. However, I used a false name and the address and phone number wasn't me. The information posted was someone else. Later I got "booted" off because I did NOT use my real name and that offended the gentle readers.
My bet is that the website has been shut down.

Thanx Lance. That site wasn't nearly as active as here but was still nice to have another resource. Hope it isn't gone for good.

Thanks for the update. I've been checking on AHRCEXPOSED website to see if they had anything there. That AHRC website has been in deep doo-doo before. I am not surprised it has been shut down or hacked. My money is on a legal investigation of some type. Too much illegal issues going on there. I try to warn them before they attacked and banned me.

I found the article about the hacking. Try the link above. The article seems a little "paranoid" to me...blaming "CAI" lawyers? Whoever wrote the article has some "issues" IMO.

A message posted to a blog of a friend of theirs indicated that the host server was down. Here was the note:
FYI -- This was posted today...

Dear AHRC subscribers and friends:

A recent break into several servers, included one on which the AHRC
News Services websites were hosted.

The providers and administrators are making progress on the work they
need to do to get the websites back online shortly.

We will keep you posted.

Thank you for your patience.

The Staff
AHRC News Services

This didn't state that they were specifically "hacked". It sounds more like their host screwed up the security and lost some servers, among them AHRC. But all of their "close and dear friends" immediately blamed CAI.

I spoke to someone at AHRC and they told me that the sight had been taken down by a hacker. They are working to get back online, but appparently all of their archives have been wiped. They don't know how much they will be able to recover (at least at the time I spoke to them - late January). The person I spoke to made no mention of "CAI attorneys", thanks all the same Lance. I hope they'll be up and running again soon.

The CAI attorney reference is straight from the article that I found on the internet. The person who wrote that article strongly suspected that "CAI" lawyers had something to do with the whole thing.
I don't even know what "CAI" is. Sounds like the "Men in Black" to me!

CAI-Community Associations Institute a group of evil doers whose sole intention is to brainwash everyone into thinking that association living is great. They've already corrupted the minds of millions of innocent people, like me and I suspect the majority of the people who post here. On the AHRC site they are responsible for everything from global warming to hangnails.

Lance,
The "write your own stories" is sponsored by Harvella Jones and she is based in Tx. She is involved with legislation at the state capital. She is a little over the top but has some good ideas along with some bad. There is no perfect solution otherwise there would be no need for this forum or others like it.

I used to frequent the AHRC site and recognize that name. My experience with that website was not favorable. They kicked me off twice for being too "Pro-HOA". However, the site claims to be "Pro-homeowner". HOA stands for "Homeowner's Association". I don't think you can get more Pro-homeowner than supporting your HOA!!!

Lance I read your posts at AHRC. I thought you often gave out good information and were ocassionally entertaining. I don't believe you should have been banned but do think some of your replies were biased and insensitive to the homeownwers position and specific problem.

Thanks. I do understand why you may have thought some of my advice had gone a "little" offensive to some. In order for me to post on that site the second time around. I had to go "under the radar" and change a few statements as to NOT get tossed out. It hurt to post a few comments just so I could continue to post good information. It was like giving a backhanded comment in order to get the correct information out.
I do hope I helped some people out there with my experiences. That's my whole point in posting. I don't want people going through alot that I went through. I didn't get to the point I am now without going through alot of struggles similar homeowners are facing. Being the President of a HOA doesn't make you above being human.
