Hello,
I am looking to establish contacts on BOD of other HOA's in Arizona, prferably in the phoenix metro are. I am the secretary of the board in a community in N. phoenix. We are currently Seeking a new prop. mgmt. co. and I am seeking the input of other BOD member who have some customer service experience with various Prop. Mgrs. I would also like to establish contact so that we could exchage info. about other vendors as well. It seems that we could avoid mistakes in vendors and processes if we could pool our knowledge and experience.

So if your on the board, and you live in a Arizona HOA, say hello, lets talk.

Hello John, I live in Arizona and in an HOA (sort of) but I definitely know nothing about being on a board--or even how to begin.
I am new to HOA's and haven't liked it so far.

JohnR4, I the secretary of our HOA of 199 homes and live in the southern part of Chandler. We have *********** as our Management Company and they are from Scottsdale. I would not recommend them.

In the 6 years I have lived here, we have had three reps from them and the one now is the worst. It took us about 6 months for him to get us a company to paint our block fence on the outside of our property. He kept telling us he had two bids but never presented them to the the board until I called his boss and complained.

Meeting notices are posted on our bulletin boards along with a two month newsletter and the meeting times will not agree on the two. Our Treasurer is still trying to get the financial report straight.

We have a meeting tomorrow night so we sill see how it goes.
